Had the pleasure of painting a wall at Push Digital this weekend. Went well, and is probably one of my favorite things I’ve ever pieced. The fumes were pretty rough towards the end, but I actually wore one of those cheap respirators the whole time – a new record! No more sneezing in tie-dye for the rest of the day.

Saturday Fun

Got the chance to do more painting today at Habitat. I have so far to go, my 3D, can control and fills need so much work. Still, super fun and looking forward to going back. Got to put up a quick throwie and rep AB/SEVS/UNTK.

July 12

Over the past month, I’ve been hard at work painting boards and gearing up for my proposal. On Thursday night, it finally happened.

Here are a few pictures, along with one still I took from the video camera that was set up in the corner. Couldn’t have asked for a better day – the sun was setting and the weather cooperated just fine.

I wasn’t really nervous until right before I carried her out. I made up a story about wanting to skateboard down a few levels, so I was carrying her out, eyes closed, to set her up on the board so she wouldn’t be scared. While trying to convince her, heart pounding, she looked at me and said, “Honey…you look high”. Apparently my eyes were bloodshot and I looked a little sick. Regardless, it all went down just fine, and I now have a fiance.
